Retail Office Administrator, Langford

Trail Appliances, the leader in the appliance industry, is searching for an Office Administrator to work in our Langford retail location. This role is responsible for greeting our customers, answering the switchboard, taking payments, assisting the sales professionals and ensuring the front end of the store is running smoothly. The successful candidate will have superior telephone and customer service skills, excellent computer skills and an upbeat, positive attitude. A keen understanding of the value of customers in a retail setting is a major requirement. The ability to work various shifts in conjunction with the retail store hours is also required. Regional Sales Manager, Lower Mainland

Summary:

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of Trail’s retail and builder sales divisions. This person is expected to effectively supervise the sales management teams and all other aspects of the sales departments, including identifying areas for opportunities and improvements, improving sales, staff retention and reducing operating costs.

The successful candidate will create strategies in partnership with the VPs of Retail and Builder Sales and implement these strategies to capitalize on opportunities and areas of improvement. This position will be based out of our Richmond Head Office but will require travel to all B.C. branches of Trail Appliances Ltd.

Other areas of responsibility will include the following:

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • At least 5 years in a store/department level management position
  • Experience in a large retail or wholesales environment is an asset
  • A proven, quantifiable track record in coaching, mentoring, process and change management
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

Education:

  • BBA or BCOM
  • Additional training in Leadership, Management, Customer Service, and/or Merchandising

Summary: The VP of Sales will maintain a macro-level role within both the retail and builder sales divisions. All of the day-to-day management and responsibilities involved in running each division will be left in the hands of the Regional Sales Manager. Appliance Repair Technicians - Lower Mainland

Trail Appliances, the leader in the appliance industry, is currently accepting resumes for qualified independent Appliance Repair Contractors. This position is also suitable for an existing appliance repair technician interested in exploring a contractor role.

At Trail, we offer access to factory training, a full team of service and administrative support staff and access to consignment parts. We also offer an above industry pay structure, paid bi-weekly.

Qualifications required include CFC and gas certification, the ability to perform sealed system repairs to refrigeration units and a minimum of two years experience servicing all brands of kitchen and laundry appliances. Successful completion of the Appliances Servicing training program or the equivalent is required.
