Summary: Trail Appliances, the leader in the appliances industry, is looking for a new member of the finance team. Full Cycle Accounts Payable Clerk to work in our Head Office in Richmond.

 

Overall Responsibilities:

  • Matching, coding, and entering of invoices
  • Reviewing vendor charges and tax calculations
  • Reconciling vendor statements
  • Researching and resolving accounts payable issues with vendors
  • Maintaining account reconciliations and chargebacks

 

Education and Experience:

  • Excellent data entry skills
  • General working knowledge of Microsoft Office software programs
  • Ability to establish priorities, work and think independently, and proceed with objectives without direct supervision
  • Well organized, detail oriented with good analytical review ability
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills

 

Credentials and Experience:

  • Minimum two years’ related experience in an accounts payable role
  • Experience with a computerized accounting environment is required

Senior Customer Service Administrator - Annacis Island Builder Division

 

Trail Appliances, the leader in the appliance industry, is currently searching for an experienced Customer Service Administrator to add to their Builder Sales team. The successful candidate will support the administrative needs of outside sales representatives and will help to drive the sales process from prospecting new business, through to delivery and after sales service.

 

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate for this rewarding challenge will be someone who thrives in a fast paced environment and lives for constant change. This work environment will appeal to someone who enjoys making quick decisions, problem solving and being constantly challenged and extremely busy.

 

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Order entry, ensuring adequate inventory levels, scheduling deliveries and account reconciliation
  • Developing and nurturing relationships with Builder customers. Fielding all phone calls from clients and addressing their needs
  • Other general office duties and ad-hoc projects as assigned

 

The successful candidate will have:

  • 2 years minimum experience in a senior administrative or data entry role
  • Highly developed PC skills in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Highly organized, goal oriented, sense of urgency, detail oriented and able to manage changing priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision but as part of a tight-knit team

Senior Administrative Assistant - Vancouver Builder Division

 

Trail Appliances, the leader in the appliance industry, is currently searching for an experienced Senior Administrative Assistant to add to their Builder Sales team. The successful candidate will support the administrative needs of outside sales representatives and will help to drive the sales process from prospecting new business, through to delivery and after sales service.

  • Managing sales projects from contract to completion. Including ensuring adequate inventory levels, scheduling deliveries and account reconciliation
  • Providing calendar management
  • Event planning and organization, including scheduling, catering, and agenda distribution
  • Creating and updating high-level reports and presentations
  • Developing and nurturing relationships with Builder customers. Fielding all phone calls from clients and addressing their needs
  • Other general office duties and ad-hoc projects as assigned

 

The successful candidate will have:

  • 5 years minimum experience in a senior administrative role
  • 2 years minimum experience as an Executive Assistant or Project Manager
  • Highly developed PC skills in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proven Project Management Skills, highly organized, goal oriented, sense of urgency, detail oriented and able to manage changing priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision but as part of a tight-knit team
  • Capacity to prioritize and meet deadlines, understand business needs and objectives
  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

The Digital Marketing Coordinator reports to Senior Marketing Manager - BC and has dotted line reporting to key designate(s) in the Alberta region. This person operates in a dynamic and exciting environment and works closely with the Marketing, Purchasing and IT teams to serve the company's evolving digital marketing needs.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Strong writing skills
  • Basic HTML knowledge
  • Basic SEO knowledge
  • Advanced skills in Excel

Appliance Repair Technicians - Lower Mainland

Trail Appliances, the leader in the appliance industry, is currently accepting resumes for qualified independent Appliance Repair Contractors. This position is also suitable for an existing appliance repair technician interested in exploring a contractor role.

At Trail, we offer access to factory training, a full team of service and administrative support staff and access to consignment parts. We also offer an above industry pay structure, paid bi-weekly.

Qualifications required include CFC and gas certification, the ability to perform sealed system repairs to refrigeration units and a minimum of two years experience servicing all brands of kitchen and laundry appliances. Successful completion of the Appliances Servicing training program or the equivalent is required.
