As the COVID-19 health crisis evolves, we remain focussed on the safety and well-being of our customers, staff, and communities.

With the Provincial Government’s announcement yesterday that we are now in a State of Emergency, we are taking further significant steps to prevent the spread of the virus, while doing our best to honour the most immediate needs of our customers.

Therefore, we have made the difficult, but necessary, decision to temporarily close all of our retail showrooms and fulfillment centres in British Columbia at the end of day, Thursday March 19th, 2020.

These decisions were not made lightly, but we feel it is our responsibility to take proactive and definitive action to do our part to protect our shared public health.

We will reopen when the Provincial and Federal governments have deemed it safe to do so, and look forward to serving you again at that time.


In-store customer pickups will end at end of business day today, March 19.

Warehouse pickups will end at 4pm Friday March 20, subject to changing conditions.

Dear Valued Customer,

The world is standing up to a health challenge of incredible measure, and we are thinking of all those who have been affected by the coronavirus (COVID-19).

At Trail, we are taking proactive measures to protect you, our staff, and our communities. Our focus is on the health and well-being of our customers and staff, as well as doing our part to prevent the spread of COVID-19. With this, our decisions are being made with great care, integrity, and vigilance.

To ensure your experience with us remains both inspiring and safe, we have implemented a number of precautionary measures in response to the evolving public health situation. Examples of these new measures include enhanced cleaning and sanitizing procedures, practicing social distancing, and completion of pre-delivery customer calls to ensure delivery conditions are safe for all parties. We have also activated an internal Response Team that will navigate and respond to this public health challenge, with the objective being the continued health and well-being of our customers, staff, and communities.

Our operations will continue to run as scheduled, and our showrooms and teams eagerly await to serve you. Please visit us in-store or online, and we will be happy to assist you in any way possible.

As COVID-19 continues to have an impact in British Columbia and around the world, Trail is committed to ensuring the health and safety of our customers and staff. This includes providing safe and clean environments that promote and protect the welfare of everyone. We are monitoring the situation very closely and are ready to quickly respond to new developments.

All our showrooms and warehouses currently remain open for business, and deliveries will go ahead as scheduled.

To proactively minimize the spread of the virus, these are some measures we are currently taking to ensure the health and safety of our staff and customers. As the situation develops, we will adjust our practices accordingly.


Hygiene at All Locations

  • We are committed to ensuring the highest level of hygiene in our locations, including showrooms, warehouse and delivery trucks. This includes enhanced cleaning protocols with particular focus on high-contact surfaces.
  • Sanitization supplies are available in all locations
  • Staff and customers are continually reminded to practice good personal hygiene

Home Deliveries/Technicians

  • We will be calling all customers prior to deliveries and servicing to ensure that the homes are safe for employees to enter. Please alert your Customer Service Agent (CSA) if there are any concerns our delivery team and home technicians should be aware of, or if you have concerns about our delivery team entering your home.

Response Team

  • We have put together a Response Team – consisting of Directors and Head Office staff – tasked with monitoring the COVID-19 situation closely and responding to events in real-time. We will proactively monitor developments in Canada and abroad, implement best practices and provide regular updates to our customers.
