Miele Ventilation Hoods are equipped with a 10-ply stainless-steel grease filter and ensure that a large proportion of the grease is separated. When it is removed, the integrated fall protection system means that it can be handled safely and protects your cooktop from damage. The top layer and filter frame are made of high-quality stainless steel so that they do not discolor when washed in the dishwasher and continue to look good long term.

Instead of sharp metal edges and electrical components, you will find only a sealed, smooth surface. It is particularly easy to clean and protects you from coming in contact with cables and motor components. Miele attention to detail - for your convenience and safety.

Longlife filters can be refreshed/reactivated in any oven using a Convection Bake at 200°C (400°F) for 60 minutes. This heat releases odors from the active charcoal molecules. We recommend completing a refresh semi-annually and fully replacing the filter after 3 years.

The ventilation hood will switch off automatically after 10 hours. This ensures maximum safety even in case of operating errors.

If the grease or active charcoal filter of your Miele ventilation hood is saturated, the red LED indicator will light up. Your filter should then be cleaned or replaced as soon as possible. You can manually adjust the factory-set service life of the filters: The grease filter saturation indicator can be programmed for 20, 30, 40, or 50 hours, and the indicator for active charcoal filter replacement for 120, 180, or 240 hours.
