Roasting oven
This high-temperature powerhouse is ideal for starting off many foods. The top of the oven grills food, while the center is perfect for fast roasting meat and poultry. The floor cooks pizzas and acts as a hidden hotplate for oven-frying foods like steak.
Baking oven
Maintained at a moderate heat, this oven is perfect for baking cakes and cookies. It’s also ideal for moderate roasting, cooking fish, and preparing layered dishes such as lasagne.
Slow cooking oven
Once food is brought to temperature elsewhere on the range, it can be transferred to this oven to finish cooking gently with radiant heat, ensuring tender and flavorful results.
Boiling plate
The AGA boiling plate delivers intense heat for quickly boiling water, maintaining a rolling boil, or stir-frying in a wok. It also accommodates griddle pans for grilling steaks, chops, and cutlets, fitting up to three saucepans at once.
Simmering plate
The cooler hotplate is designed for gently bringing foods to a simmer. It’s ideal for heating milk, making sauces, or cooking delicate dishes like scrambled eggs and crepes. It can also be used as a griddle for toasted sandwiches.
