Giving Back to the Communities Where We Live, Work and Play
50+ Years in BC. 550 Team Members Strong. 100% Local.
Every Trail Appliances team member—from delivery drivers to appliance experts—lives and works right here in British Columbia. They're not just colleagues—they're parents at your kids' soccer games, volunteers at local fundraisers, and familiar faces at the grocery store.
And that's why we are dedicated to supporting grassroots initiatives that uplift and enhance our community. Whether it's through sponsoring local events, funding educational programs, partnering with nonprofit organizations, or rolling up our sleeves and supporting our neighbours during times of natural disasters, we are always looking for meaningful ways to contribute to the well-being of our neighbours.

Food Banks BC
Addressing Food Insecurity, One Meal at a Time
We spend our days helping people bring home appliances that gather families around kitchen tables. So when families across BC are struggling to put food on those tables, we pay attention. In 2025 during our 50th Anniversary, we matched donations from our customers to raise $50,000 in support of Food Banks BC.
Your continued support is vital in helping make everyday life better for families who don’t know where their next meal is coming from.

Recognizing Everyday Heroes
We awarded $50,000 in appliance credits among five extraordinary individuals whose daily acts of kindness, advocacy, and volunteer work create ripples of change across British Columbia, each nominated by our community for their outstanding contributions to various causes. From tireless volunteers to advocates leading impactful initiatives, their stories embody the true spirit of giving and community service.
We’re honoured to share their journeys and celebrate their efforts while inspiring others and making a difference with appliances that make everyday life better.
Bringing Warmth and Comfort to Families In Need
For 30 years, we’ve been proud supporters of the Coats for Kids campaign, an annual initiative led by the Homebuilders Association Vancouver (HAVAN) to collect winter outerwear and new toys for families in need across Metro Vancouver.
Each holiday season, our showrooms become donation hubs for coats, scarves, gloves, and new toys. These contributions are delivered to local Christmas Bureaus during a lively community event at a Trail Appliances showroom, helping children stay warm when they need it most.
Always There for Our Community
We're here because you're here. For over 50 years, BC families have trusted us with the appliances that make everyday life work at home—and that means everything to us. The people who walk into our showrooms, trust our delivery teams, and recommend us to their neighbours? They're the reason we're still here.
We're proud to partner with BC-based nonprofits, working hand in hand to uplift health, education, and housing. By supporting the BC Cancer Foundation, we're powering progress in cancer research. Our bond with Ronald McDonald House Charities aids families when they need it most, and our contributions to hospitals enrich healthcare across the province.
We’re the Smaller Name with the Bigger Stake in Your Neighbourhood
From donating appliances behind the scenes to sponsoring local sports teams or helping keep the lights on at your local theatre, we're here for the long game. Because when our communities thrive, we all win. We're proud partners with the Kelowna Rockets, Vancouver Giants, Abbotsford Canucks, and Richmond Chuckers — supporting local hockey and baseball for over a decade, because teamwork, whether on the ice or the diamond, mirrors how we work in our communities. We've also been cheering on the Chemainus Theatre for years, because culture and creativity bring us together in ways that matter.
