The Major Appliance Recycling Roundtable (MARR) fee you’ll see on your invoice covers the cost of recycling your appliance. It’s charged at the time of purchase, not when the appliance is brought to a collection site at its end of life. The MARR fee is administered by a not-for-profit stewardship that adheres to BC’s Recycling Regulation, and is not a governmental tax. It’s a Provincial requirement that all retailers who sell appliances charge this fee.

Thank you for helping us keep appliances out of landfills.
