Grace Connell
Handmade Craft & Compassion Advocate
Grace is a selfless creator and giver, using her talents in sewing and knitting to provide clothing, accessories, and comfort to those in need, including women escaping abuse and hospital patients. Funding her efforts herself, she donates all proceeds from her handcrafted items to charity. Whether she’s baking for the community, repurposing thrifted materials into warm clothing, or knitting for hospitals, her generosity knows no bounds. Grace’s creativity, kindness, and unwavering dedication make her an inspiring force for good.
Grace’s new range
Grace loves to cook and bake, and the new induction Whirlpool range will make a big difference. It will allow her to cook more safely by preventing burns and avoiding overheating in the kitchen. Plus, the energy efficiency of the range is expected to help Grace save up to 50% on energy costs. The new hood fan is also a great addition—it's quiet and will help keep the kitchen cooler while she cooks.

Meghan Neufeld

Maternal Support Advocate through BabyGoRound

As Executive Director of BabyGoRound, Meghan Neufeld is a driving force behind community care and social impact. With a background in fundraising and advocacy, she has secured over $12 million for vital programs across the Lower Mainland. Meghan played a key role in disaster relief after the 2021 Fraser Valley floods, expanded postpartum care initiatives, and led BGR to a 31% increase in gear donations and a 75% rise in volunteer hours. Her leadership in diversity, inclusion, and systemic change is shaping the future of charitable work.
About BabyGoRound
Meghan’s new laundry machine
Meghan chose two LG washer and dryer combo units, which she is generously donating to two BabyGoRound locations.

This will make a huge difference — the Cloverdale location currently has no appliances, and the Vancouver location will now be able to replace its old equipment. These donations will help BabyGoRound expand its reach and improve efficiency.
